	ADN believes that education is the only medium that can bring sustainable change in the lives of poor people. ADN puts emphasis on the establishment of schools and education centers for the poor and orphan children where quality of education is ensured. School of Pioneers Rawalakot was constructed in 2007 while Academy of Islamic and Modern Studies (AIMS) building was inaugurated in village Kujjar, Sheikhupura this year. Another building of a girls’ primary school in the remote area of Neelum (AJ&K) has been started this year with the support from Embassy of Japan Islamabad. ADN was the partner with UNICEF for the distribution of schools supplies, construction of transitional school shelters a- nd teachers training in 243 government schools in nine union councils of AJ&K’s earthquake affected areas. Approxi- mately 28478 students benefited from this program.
