Al-Mustafa Development Network (ADN) is a registered nonprofit organization in Pakistan and AJ&K with the objective to promote social wellbeing through sustainable developmental activities and providing emergency relief services wherever and whenever it occurs.
ADN was established in October 2005 after the devastating earthquake that struck in the Himalayan region of Kashmir and Northern Areas of Pakistan. Due to its inception as a result of earthquake it started activities with rescue and relief operations. With its registration under Trust Act 1882 and later under Societies Act 1860 organization expanded its activities from relief operations to long term rehabilitation. Supported by international organizations like UNICEF organization worked for the rehabilitation of destroyed schools with the provision of safe drinking water and sanitation services, helping teachers in training for the improvement in quality of education. ADN focused the needs of women and children by providing services for orphans and widows affected by the earthquake.
Currently ADN is working on a number of initiatives in other areas of Pakistan and AJK like rehabilitation of displaces families of Swat and Malakand and construction of schools for free education at various locations.
